Small Business Week and the Clean Energy Transition

Date:

As we celebrate Small Business Week, the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) is proud to partner with and support small businesses in the clean energy transition. Through the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law and the Inflation Reduction Act, DOE is focused on developing innovative solutions with small businesses to help power a clean energy economy.

DOE recently crossed the $10 Billion milestone in small business awards and continues to increase broad and equitable access to opportunities for women-owned small businesses , small disadvantaged businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses, HUBZone small businesses, and traditionally underserved entrepreneurs.  From research and development projects to contracting awards, DOE offers a wide range of funding opportunities to support small businesses to drive the clean energy innovation ecosystem forward.
