Former top Trump White House lawyers Pat Cipollone and Patrick Philbin returned to court to provide additional grand jury testimony after being ordered to do so by a federal judge. The judge has repeatedly rejected former President Donald Trump’s privilege claims in the Justice Department’s criminal investigation of his effort to overturn the 2020 election, according to people briefed on the matter. Former Nixon White House counsel John Dean tells CNN’s Anderson Cooper that this will “considerably” increase Trump’s legal jeopardy.
