EUROMONEY Recognizes LAFISE Leadership on Developing Economies

Receiving EUROMONEY double award as Best Bank in Nicaragua and Best Bank for SMEs in Latin America.

At the Gala Awards for Excellence 2022 held in the city of London on July 13, the prestigious international finance magazine EUROMONEY granted LAFISE a double award as Best Bank in Nicaragua and Best Bank for SMEs in Latin America.

The analysts based their decision on the financial performance shown in 2021, which is supported by the adaptation of a model based on the client and their needs, which allowed a growth of 36.2% in its loan portfolio. On the other hand, the work carried out with the Small and Medium Enterprises sector in the region, facilitating greater access to credit and financing to reach new levels of growth, the above was determinant to receive this new award, since a growth of 25% was registered in the SME's portfolio.

There was also the innovation component which has distinguished Grupo LAFISE; it's about products such as MiWEB LAFISE, created for SMEs and startups where they receive their own website and hosting to develop E-commerce business. Another mentioned product was PLAN LAFISE SME in which a portfolio of products and services has been designed providing benefits to boost business growth in these small and medium-sized companies.
