Wednesday Season 2: Jenna Ortega asks the writers to increase horror and make it more romantic.

Date:

Jenna Ortega wants Wednesday Season 2 to include more horror elements and ditch the romance that feels out of place in the series.

Jenna Ortega is taking the world by storm after dazzling generations of Addams Family fans with Tim Burton’s Wednesday and going a second round with Ghostface for Scream VI. During a recent appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Ortega confirmed the writers for Wednesday are busy penning the sophomore season of Netflix’s Gothic drama. Ortega also has ideas about Wednesday Season 2, including the show’s approach towards horror and romance.

I think we want the horror aspect to be a bit more intense and then let Wednesday get out of the romantic situation and let her be her individual and fight her own crime,” Ortega said to a giddy Fallon.

I am open to the possibility of more horror in the next season. The first season was dominated by the romance between Wednesday, Tyler Galpin, Xavier Thorpe. The show’s strongest feature is still the supernatural horror angle. Burton is an expert at creating threatening and memorable characters. Hopefully, Wednesday Season 2 will let him off the leash and tap into nightmares he’s been holding onto for years. After all, what’s The Addams Family without creepy crawlies, oozing bog monsters, and decaying relatives?https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sJzm8RFQ8bAAccording to reports, Ortega is fearless in defying the writing team when she feels the dialogue isn’t true to her character. Ortega spoke on the Armchair Expert podcast to reveal that parts of the script were not reflected in Wednesday’s reactions to the world. Ortega would often alter dialogue without consulting the writers.

"When I read the entire series I realized, Oh, this is for young audiences',"

Ortega said.

“When I signed up for the show, I didn’t have all the scripts. It was going to be darker. It wasn’t… I was unsure what the tone would be or how the score would sound.”When Ortega was asked about her changing Wednesday’s dialogue, Ortega replied that she had never had to “Wednesday” more than on Wednesday. It was all not right for her character. Is it possible for her to be in a love triangle with someone? It made no sense. She was talking about a dress she had to wear to school dance, and she said that she loved it. Ugh, that’s horrible. I can’t believe I said that. The script supervisor thought I was going with something and then I had to sit down with the writers, and they’d be like, ‘Wait, what happened to the scene?’ And I’d have to go and explain why I couldn’t go do certain things.”While Ortega admits she can be a handful, she strikes me as an actress who gets shit done. If she wants more horror in

Wednesday

Season 2, I won’t put it past her to get it done.

Do you hope Wednesday Season 2 leans harder into horror? What do you think of Ortega changing Wednesday’s dialogue, without speaking to the writing team? We’d love to hear from you in the comments!

Triad Partners is on a mission to help elite financial advisors scale their businesses and achieve unlimited growth without sacrificing in other areas of their lives. That's why it has recently expanded the reach of its "Do Business. Do Life." approach with the launch of a brand-new podcast.

Brad Johnson, the financial industry's go-to guy and one of the industry's top advisor coaches, is back at it. After taking a two-year hiatus from podcasting, he's ready to help financial advisors build better businesses and more fulfilling lives with a focus on better balancing work/life integration on the "Do Business. Do Life." podcast.

According to New York Times bestselling author and leadership expert Michael Hyatt, "This is one of the best, most useful podcasts on the internet — even for non-advisors. I am not a financial advisor. However, I get enormous value out of every episode. Brad is one of the top podcast interviewers in the world. He has a knack for picking energetic guests with tons of helpful strategies and tips. I NEVER miss an episode (and also forward them to my advisor friends). If you are an advisor, this is a must-listen. It will give you a huge edge over the competition. Brad and his guests are sharing killer strategies — for FREE. I highly recommend this podcast."

Johnson's previous podcast, The Elite Advisor Blueprint®, focused on reaching success as a financial advisor. However, his new show is aimed at something much bigger — helping advisors achieve significance by redefining what "success" means in the financial industry.

The "Do Business. Do Life." podcast provides financial advisors with wide-ranging interviews featuring New York Times bestselling authors, professional athletes, speaking coaches and whiteboarding experts, to name a few — all interviewed through the lens of helping financial advisors understand how they can achieve an overall better business and life.

Rather than the "either/or" tradeoff of scaling a business at the sacrifice of your lifestyle, the DBDL podcast focuses on the "yes/and" approach of work/life integration. Johnson's mission is to empower advisors to break free from limiting beliefs and discover a life of significance with unlimited growth, freedom, and joy.

Keith Ellis, co-founder of SHP Financial, knows firsthand the value of great coaching and constantly challenging his own thinking as he's helped scale his firm to over $250 million of assets gathered on an annual basis. He highly recommends the "Do Business. Do Life." podcast, saying, "When I met Brad over a decade ago, we were gathering less than $10 million of assets on an annual basis. Fast-forward a decade and with his coaching and guidance, he's helped us grow by 25X! I'm incredibly excited to see his podcast relaunch as it offers a wealth of insights and perspectives that can help financial advisors achieve success in business and life. If you're looking to grow a business, but also have the freedom to be home for family dinners, this is the podcast to subscribe to."

As one of the top advisor coaches in the industry, Johnson's new podcast promises to deliver exceptional content for financial advisors looking to achieve their full potential. His expert insights and unmatched guests will help advisors break through limiting beliefs and unlock their true potential.

Illustrated newspaper 'StormForge Times' with front page article announcing Kumina partnership

StormForge, the leader in Kubernetes resource optimization, today announced their partnership with Kumina. The Netherlands-based company with over a decade of experience in providing mission-critical IT services will offer StormForge's Kubernetes resource optimization solution Optimize Live.

Together, Kumina and StormForge will provide Kubernetes users with an all-inclusive package comprising managed Kubernetes services and advanced optimization capabilities.

This partnership will help users enhance the performance and efficiency of their Kubernetes clusters, reducing costs and freeing up resources to focus on other aspects of their business. Consequently, Kumina's expertise in managing Kubernetes clusters with customized IT solutions will assist users in maximizing the performance of the optimization platform provided by StormForge.

Kumina's CEO Tim Stoop is enthusiastic about the benefits customers gain from integrating StormForge:

"I was impressed how Optimize Live has solved a whole class of customer issues with one solution, reliably and deterministically, while actually allowing resource usage to go down as a whole. We can help customers scale with confidence and cut costs with StormForge without sacrificing user experience. I am really excited about the potential that StormForge brings to the table."

Optimize Live

StormForge Optimize Live applies machine learning to existing Kubernetes metrics to make real-time, actionable recommendations to resource settings for any deployment running in Kubernetes. By optimizing CPU and memory settings, customers can save cloud resources and money, reduce the business risk of poorly performing applications, and get their developers focused on innovating, not tuning their Kubernetes environment. StormForge's Solutions Architect Niels Roetert expresses enthusiasm regarding the benefits afforded by the solution:

"StormForge Optimize Live provides Pod resource right-sizing and can set optimal TargetUtilisation values for Kubernetes HPA to operate on. It does so continuously and without any human effort (configurable) at large scale. This results in resource and cost savings most of the time, when beneficial, resources are actually added to facilitate a better performing and more reliable application, which is a win-win for the application owner either way."

About Kumina

Kumina supports its customers by a fully managed Kubernetes solution that includes consulting, training and unlimited support hours. The company focuses on enhancing the infrastructure and cloud hosting capabilities of its customers in order to improve the performance, reliability, and security of their IT systems.
