The tag-alongs from Hell return as John Cena and Lil Rel Howery co-star in the sequel to the 2021 Hulu hit movie.
In the wake of Dwayne Johnson’s successful transition into a film career, following suit are fellow former wrestlers-turned-actors, Dave Bautista and John Cena. Cena has made a name for himself in the comedy world being in such films as Trainwreck, Blockers, and Vacation Friends from 20th Century Studios. The Hulu comedy Vacation Friends received a resoundingly positive response. Now, they bring us a sneak peek at the upcoming sequel. This entry adds Carlos Santos to the ensemble, along with Ronny Chieng Jamie Hector and Steve Buscemi. The official synopsis reads,“Picking up a few months after the end of “Vacation Friends,” this uproarious sequel finds newly married couple Marcus (Howery) and Emily (Orji) inviting their uninhibited besties Ron (Cena) and Kyla (Hagner), who are also newly married and have a baby, to join them for a vacation when Marcus lands an all-expenses-paid trip to a Caribbean resort. He is there to meet the owners of the resort and bid on a contract for a Chicago hotel that they own. The next chapter of the 2021 comedy will be available on streaming platforms on

was originally developed under the title, Honeymoon Friends, after the first had a strong debut on Hulu. The movie became the most watched original film on the streaming service in its first weekend.
