Lionsgate and Roadside Attractions have unveiled a trailer for the psychological thriller The Marsh King’s Daughter, which is set to reach theatres on October 6th. The revenant) with Elle Smith (earning a screenwriting credit) and follows a young woman who has a secret past. She will venture into the wilderness to confront the most deadly man she’s met: her father. Helena (Daisy Ridley), a seemingly normal woman, hides a dark truth. Her estranged dad is the infamous Marsh King(Ben Mendelsohn), who held her and her mother hostage in the wilderness for many years. Helena must confront her past when her father escapes prison. Knowing that he will hunt for her and her family, Helena must find the strength to face her demons and outmaneuver the man who taught her everything she knows about surviving in the wild.Ridley is joined in the cast by Ben Mendelsohn (Captain Marvel), Garrett Hedlund (TRON: Legacy), Caren Pistorius (Unhinged), Gil Birmingham (
