A “Making Of” special that looks behind-the-scenes of The Last of Us will begin streaming on HBO Max this weekend
The HBO TV series adaptation of the video game The Last of Us is going to be wrapping up its nine episode first season this Sunday, and the show’s official Twitter account has announced that once the season finale has aired, a “Making Of” special will be available to watch on the HBO Max streaming service.
) The story of Joel, who lives in a militarized quarantine area. He is close to Tess, who works in the community’s black market. They have become well-known by the criminal underworld for their ruthlessness. They are on a mission to recover their stolen guns when they meet the leader of Fireflies, a resistance group who assigns them the task of smuggling Ellie, a young girl, out of the zone. The mission quickly becomes more than they expected. Season 1 is an adaptation of the entire first game.Pedro Paul plays Joel, who is “tormented” by past traumas and failures. He must travel across America in search of the girl who is the last hope for humanity, while also protecting his family. Bella Ramsey plays Ellie, a 14-year old orphan who has never known anything other than a devastated planet. She struggles to balance her instincts for anger and defiance with her need to belong… and the newfound reality she may be the key for saving the world.”; Merle Dandridge plays Tommy, Joel’s brother; Jeffrey Pierce plays Perry; Nick Offerman, Murray Bartlett and Storm Reid play Riley, Ellie’s best friend. Baker plays James, a senior member of a group settlers who must fight for their community in the face of increasing brutal odds. Baker also hosts a podcast that will be a companion show to the TV series. Johnson’s character is Anna, “a pregnant woman, alone and on the run, who must give birth under the most terrifying of circumstances.” Anna will be showing up in the season finale, and an image of the character can be seen at the bottom of this article.Craig Mazin and Neil Druckmann are directors on the series, as are Kantemir Balagov (
