Nicholas Hoult talks to The Guardians on losing roles in The Batman

and Top Gun: Maverick but every actor has a big role that slipped away… sometimes more. While speaking with The Guardian, Nicholas Hoult revealed some of the major movies he tried out for, including The Batman, Top Gun: Maverick, and Mission: Impossible 7.I screen-tested for Batman and didn’t get it. Nicholas Hoult revealed that he screen-tested for Top Gun but didn’t get the part. “Then, I got a call from Tom Cruise saying: ‘Hey how about Mission Impossible’. Okay. Got it. Then I had no choice but to drop out as I was already attached to some more of The Great.

The role Nicholas Hoult, who was to play in Mission: Impossible 197, was described as one of the main antagonists. Dropping out must have been difficult. Hoult was later replaced by Esai Morales.Related

He even performed a play about it in high school. “Honestly I didn’t want to go back to the vampire world, but his style is so different from (Renfield) and I am such a fan that I’m excited about being in his world, watching him, and learning from him.
