Jaafar Jackson, the newphem of Michael Jackson, will play the King of Pop in Antoine Fuqua’s Michael Jackson biopic, Michael.
Antoine Fuqua is keeping things close-knit for his upcoming Michael Jackson biopic. Deadline reports that Jackson’s nephew Jaafar Jackson will play the King Of Pop in the Fuqua-directed film. Fuqua confirmed Jackson’s inclusion via Instagram. Fuqua shared a photo of Jaafar in a private studio equipped with mirrors wall to wall. Jaafar is wearing Jackson’s signature black shoes, made from Florsheim Imperial Leather. He also has a black fedora. Jaafar Jackson is a singer, son writer, and is in a classic M.J. pose, evaluating his moves from all angles. Jaafar, who has been dancing and singing since age 12, is a natural talent. Jaafar Jackson sings original music and covers Marvin Gaye and Sam Cooke songs. Jaafar’s singing voice is eerily similar to his Uncle Michael’s, and he has the dance moves to match.
stated Katherine Jackson. Graham King, producer, said that Jaafar was “amazing in how he organically embodies the spirit and personality Michael.”
“It was so powerful that even after conducting an international search, it was clear that Jaafar is the only one to play this role. I am beyond thrilled that he has come on board to portray his uncle and cannot wait for the world to see him on the big screen as Michael Jackson.”“It’s incredibly exciting to watch Jaafar bring Michael to life,”
said Fuqua. “There was a spiritual connection when Jaafar first met me. He has a natural ability and chemistry with the camera to imitate Michael.”Fuqua’s Michael
biopic is about the life and times, as well as the controversy surrounding the singer. The plot contains elements of Jackson’s pedophile accusations as well as the bizarre circumstances surrounding Jackson’s death at 50. The Michael Jackson estate will grant M.J.’s musical catalogue rights to Fuqua in order to make the film as authentic as possible. Fuqua is walking a thin line by signing onto the Michael biopic, which will celebrate the iconic figure while exploring his faults. Jackson’s final days were difficult, which makes him a problematic celebrity to celebrate and not ruin his image. To preserve Jackson’s legacy, many people ignore the accusations against him. Can Fuqua and his crew accurately portray M.J. while not tarnishing his legacy? Although the film will include some disturbing aspects about Jackson’s life, the ultimate goal is to create a cinematic celebration his career and the gifts that he gave the world. Fuqua will be able to thread this needle? What are your favourite Michael Jackson songs? My favorites are “Rock With You,”” “Scream,” Man in the Mirror,” and “Dirty Diana.” (Pretty Young Thing)
